I love music, and I listen for a living.
For over 20 years I have worked in the industry, and have been fortunate to have worked with some of the greatest musicians of our time, both in the studio, for national broadcast,
and in live concert settings. I never wanted to do anything else.

Let me put my experience and passion to work for you.

Please enjoy these samples from records I have engineered, mixed and/or produced, including my latest project from the legendary pianist and composer Ahmad Jamal.

Well, I have made the big move.

In November, I was given the opportunity to work on The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien. A dream job. I decided to pack up and move from Boston, where for more than 20 years I have been providing audio services to hundreds of bands, venues, studios, and sound companies.

I was excited to start the next chapter of my carreer.

I'm sure you can guess the rest of the story. The unthinkable happened, Conan walked, and my bulletproof gig evaporated.

But that is not the end of the story. Los Angeles is filled with opportunity, and I plan to make the most of it. I am currently searching for new projects to work on, new venues and PA companies to work with, and new talent to support.

I have worked extensively providing audio support for broadcast, live, and studio recordings. While similar, each disclipine has its own unique challenges. I like to think that I have been able to apply the lessons learned from one to the others. Additionally, I am old enough to have had the pleasure of working in pure analog. There have been amazing advances in digital audio, and I am well versed in the ways of ProTools, digital mixing consoles, and the slate of amazing plug-ins and processing available. I like to use a combination of technology. I love the power and ease of digital editing, recall, and automation, but I still like to run signal through gear with big knobs and tubes.

If you play well, I'll help you sound great.
